The Community of Saint Mary the Virgin was founded in 1848 by the then vicar of Wantage,
William John Butler. The building is large and varied, with a large main chapel and ante-chapel, plus an infirmary
wing for Sisters in need of care, a guest wing, canteen, and living quarters for the Sisters..
After a recommendation, we were kindly asked to quote for upgrading the existing sound system, which then led to the
installation of a relatively small but complex system within the main chapel and ante-chapel, with feeds provided into
existing equipment serving systems elsewhere in the building. A "call to prayer" bell system has also been installed,
and the sound system has grown to incorporate extra microphones and a digital mixing console, for much greater flexibility and ease of use.
